Day 1 - Afternoon flight Reykjavík - Akureyri.
Pick up at Akureyri airport and transfer to hotel in the Lake Myvatn area.
A guided tour of the Myvatn area where you visit the mysterious lava formations at Dimmuborgir, Höfði a community park and the bubbling mud pits Hveraleira.
After dinner (included) the guests are invited to take an evening stroll around the area where you may see the Northern Lights.

Day 2 - Free day to relax or you can take part in optional tours or other activities that might be available that day.
After dinner (included), a 3 hour tour takes you in search of the magical Northern Lights.

Day 3 - A free day to relax or you can take an optional tour or other activities that might be available on that day. Dinner at hotel (included).

Day 4 -After  breakfast you will be driven to Akureyri with a short stop at Goðafoss waterfalls. You will then have a short sightseeing tour of Akureyri and then drop off at a local downtown hotel.  

Day 5 - A free day today to take an optional non guided tour to Hrísey island or make use of the wonderful local swimming pool or if weather permits - go skiing.

Day 6 - Taxi transfer to Akureyri airport for the flight back to Reykjavík.
