From here you will be able to see the unique rock formations known as the “Giant and the Old Hag” off the north tip of Eysturoy. Drive over the only bridge across the Atlantic Ocean to the village of Eiđi on Eysturoy, with its unique scenery and spectacular view of Slćttaratindur (882m), the highest mountain in the Faroe Islands. Overnight on Eysturoy.

Day 3:  Enjoy the day in Gjřgv, known for its distinctive natural harbour. Here you have a chance to take a two-hour walk with views of the bird cliffs, the ‘Djúpini’ and the beautiful valley of ‘Ambadalur’. Stay overnight on Eysturoy.

Day 4:  From the village of Leirvík, drive through the tunnel under the sea to Klaksvík. The tunnel is illuminated with lights in various colours installation by the famous Faroese artist Tróndur Patursson. From Klaksvík you can explore the other Northern Islands: Kalsoy, Kunoy, Viđoy, Svínoy and Fugloy, each with its own dramatic landscape. If you walk along the ‘Love path’ up to Klakkur, you will be rewarded with an impressive view in all directions including Kunoy, with its six mountains. Overnight stay on one of the Northern Islands.
